On September 30, 2023, Liliya Ianovskaia reached the summit of Dhaulagiri (8,167 m) — the world's seventh-highest mountain — supported by Mingma Dorchi Sherpa.
At 63, Liliya became the oldest woman to summit Dhaulagiri. The expedition was operated by 8K Expeditions, which later published a dispatch from the summit.
Dhaulagiri was Liliya's seventh eight-thousander, completed in the same year as Lhotse (May 2023).
